This week we have been exploring the importance of being safe in and around water - be it by the pool, on a farm, by a river or even a bucket of water around children smaller than ourselves.
As the term quickly draws to an end we are finishing off some of the projects we began earlier in the term.

We have used this website to reinforce our learning about keeping safe while in the sun.
We have also enjoyed listening to this song which has a clear safety message.
We are writing narratives. Listen to Benjamin read his narrative about a mum who had just finished cleaning her floor when the family walked inside. What happened?
We have been learning how to use the inspiration programme on the computer to show our developing knowledge of the different types of bikes. Click on each image to enlarge it.
We are a class of Year 1 students at Sunnybrae Normal School, Auckland. Mrs Rennie-Younger teaches us on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Mrs Morley teaches us on Wednesday and Thursday.
