Swimming carnival

Today we took part in the Junior swimming carnival. It was an opportunity for us all to show how far we have come in learning to be safe around and in water. We have gained confidence in our own ability in the water.  It was great to see so many parents and extended family members attend this event.

    Such a proud and emotional afternoon being at the swimming sports. I have seen huge improvements in Leons confidence and skills in the water since being at Sunnybrae Primary. I think we are so lucky to have a pool at the school as I know a few schools who have to travel elsewhere for their lessons. Well done room 1, you all did FANTASTIC in your races today :)
