weekly update - week 1

It was lovely to see everyone back at school on Monday having had an exciting holiday. This term we have planned a number of interesting and fun filled activities. For the first few weeks we are looking at why we are unique and celebrating the different cultures we have in our class and school. We are having a school wide cultural week in week 3.

In the second half of the term we will be looking at how the food we eat gets from the farm to our tables and we have a visit planned to Ambury farm.

We also working on making a number of art work in preparation for the school art exhibition later in the term.

Keep looking on our class blog to share our learning. Please leave us a comment - we love to see to read the comments you leave.

Weekly update - week 9

This week we have been having fun exploring magnets and discovering what they can stick to.
Taylor and Deborah found they could hold the pen up as the magnet was attracted to the spring inside the pen!

Aesop discovered that the magnet on the whiteboard could stick to his little magnet and together they looked like a mushroom!

Simaima found that she could hold the scissors up using the little magnets.

Alina found that she could pick up not just one staple but a large number of staples.
