Sunnybrae Normal School is unique

Last week we celebrated cultural week at Sunnybrae. It is always a great occasion as we get involved in a lot of cultural activities. When we went to the library on Monday we looked at all of the different displays - it was exciting to find the country we identified with. Sunnybrae Normal School is unique in the large number of different countries that the children in our school identify with - it is a great place to learn -

Weekly update - week 2 Term 3 2011

This week we have explored the things that make New Zealand unique from mountains to kiwis to hokey pokey ice cream. We wandered around our school and looked at all the signs outside each room. We took it in turns to take a photo of the signs.

We decided that the signs help to make our school and bright and cheerful place to be. They also remind us of some of things that make New Zealand unique!!!

On Friday we had a session on badminton with a coach from North Harbour sport. We had a lot of fun as this video shows -
