Drawing dragons

2012 is the year of the dragon. For art this week, after looking at pictures of dragons we sketched one. Then we went over the sketch with a black vivid pen and coloured the image in using dye. Below you can see Zavier and Matthew working through each process. The dragons will be cut out and placed on a painted background that the children created by dragging paint with a sponge.

A budding artist

Zavier took great pride in creating this piece of art work. He started with making a pencil sketch and then coloured in the sketch using pastels.

The background was made using Zavier's handprints. Well done Zavier
